I just wrote a review on Sunday re my husbands visit to the ER. I wish I could write something just as nice about my own visit last night. I went to Prompt Care in Charlotte Hall who sent me to the ER. The wait time in the ER wasn't bad but I find it troubling that NOBODY asked me about my history or current medications. I did have diagnostic testing which was negative but I was discharged with a diagnosis of muscle pain. My foot and leg were and still is swollen and painful. Anybody on heavy duty diuretics shouldn't be walking around with this edema. On discharge I was given general follow up care and a list of my medications which were totally INCORRECT! You wont see me back at this ER. The staff made me feel like a nut case while there. Would of been nice if somebody would of asked me for current medical issues and current medications. Maybe a more correct diagnosis could of been made.

As long as Dr Melissa Sinclair is working there, I will never seek help at St Mary's Hospital. I will drive an extra 20 mins to get to Calvert. She doesn't have any sympathy for the patients. Lastnight I heard her tell a concerned Dad with a 4 year old with a swollen and red eye that there was nothing wrong with his crying child who has obvious physical symptoms of pain. Instead of being caring an saying he must have scratch or severely iratated his eye she told him nothing was wrong. The Dad was furious that she didn't take his sons pain more seriously. She is cold hearted an will NEVER diagnose me ever again. After having my own personal experiences with her.... I will NEVER return to St Mary's as long as she is working there.

I was seen in the ED last week, high fever trouble breathing, I had great care at a time that I was feeling horrible, thanks to Julie NT and Melissa ED Provider in the ED for helping me at a time that I felt helpless,

My 13 year daughter came in unresponsive to this facility . When she finally came to she was paralyzed on the right side of her body . We sat for a few hours and then was discharged that same day .was told us could have possibly been a seizure ... and when I asked the nurse what was going on and I didn't feel comfortable taking her home the same day not knowing the cause he said it's just a seizure. Worst experience of my life !!!!

Had our son here. The ward was super clean and bright, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, really a great experience. I'd recommend this hospital to anyone! We also had ultrasounds here. The technians were good at their jobs and were friendly and supportive. The Scheduling and registration people were very nice. When I got lost before registration, the office personnel kindly called around to see where I should go and then walked me there. We had classes through the hospital and they were terrific too!
