I approached this body shop from a very positive recommendation. The job was done in good time but due to their inflexible M-F 8-5 opening hours, was unable to pick the car up for a few days after. Would be good if they actually opened on a Saturday morning to be more flexible, although this wasn't the issue. Come the following week I was glad to finally get my car back. The repair was 'OK' as it wasn't 'perfect' but I took the car anyway. However I am used to my car being spotless and I later found marks on the car that to my recollection weren't there before I left my car with them - it was spotless. I took it back to see what they could do and I was met by the owner who was quite angry and aggressive to me. I really was taken aback by his open hostility toward me. He shouted at me that the marks are tree sap, and challenged me by asking, "DO YOU SEE ANY TREES HERE?" Basically very rude and blew me off by treating me like an idiot and sent me on my way. I'm not at all convinced it is sap. I researched the colors and consistency of sap and found nothing resembling what is on my car. Considering my car is kept in a garage at all times and there are no trees anywhere near the car park at work, it wasn't the response I was expecting from a highly recommended establishment. I don't believe I was being unfair to go back to them considering that was the only place my car was kept while it was in their care (or was it the only place? I'll never know). All I was hoping for was that they would try to remove it on my word as a customer who clearly takes care of his car. Not very good for dropping $$$$ on them for the privilege of bad customer service...

I do not typically take the time to write reviews. I would like to say, Coach Craft Auto Body exceeded my expectations for my BMW 330. While my wife was driving on the beltway, she encountered a airborne 2x4 at 70mph. Needless to say there was some cosmetic damages, Coach not only repaired the damages nicely but went above and beyond, on areas close to impact area. They even took the time to polish/restore existing headlight to match the new. I am a strong believer in the small Mom&Pop establishments in both Southern Maryland , and America for that matter. The owner brought my car out, showed the repairs and coudlnt have been more pleasant. Figured a good review was in order, seeing the other reviews listed here. My experience, 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and man that Red sure is pretty. Thanks Coach Craft!!!!

A so-so repair and an unexpectedly hostile owner. No way can I refer this establishment based on my own experience.

Joe took the time when we brought the car in to pull the bumper and show us what was damaged and what needed to be done. He gave us a price to just put the bumper back on and one to repair the underside of the bumper and repaint before replacement. He said it was a choice we thought we should consider since the damage was hard to see and probably would reoccur. We agreed and it saved us a considerable amount of money. Great customer service and outstanding work for a reasonable price!

I don't know what to do because clearly I will have no joy going back to this shop. All I can do is warn prospective customers of extremely shoddy workmanship which they then attempt to hide rather than do the right thing.

UPDATE: Since the last post it came to me that these marks could not have been tree sap because had it been tree sap, the whole upper surface of the car would have these marks - but it is just the roof. There is nothing on the hood or side windows or rear hatch. ALSO I noticed the front passenger door window trim is bent up, showing some nasty black goo stuff, where it looks like it has been STUCK DOWN but hasn't held!

They gave me a quick & easy estimate with no waiting. They fixed and painted my bumper on my 2011 Sonata in the promised timeframe plus washed and vaccumed before I picked it up. With this type of service, quality and hassle-free, I will be coming back to Coach Craft. Thanks again, Steve Gass

Just picked up my 2004 BMW 330Ci convertible at Coach Craft after repairs. The front bumper had been partially pulled off when it caught on a parking curb. The bumper is back in place and better than when we bought the car. Outstanding job done quickly and for a good price.
